Community Guidelines

These guidelines are here to keep Pollzy safe, respectful, authentic, and worth showing up for.

Pollzy is a space to share opinions, spark conversations, and connect through polls.

These guidelines exist to keep the community safe, respectful, and authentic.

1. Respect Others

  • Treat people with respect, even when you disagree.
  • Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, or coordinated abuse are not allowed.
  • Hate speech or discrimination targeting protected characteristics is not allowed.

2. Keep Content Safe and Lawful

  • Do not post illegal content or content that promotes illegal activity.
  • Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is strictly prohibited. This includes any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers minors, including grooming, sextortion, or child sex trafficking.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited. Any visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct is forbidden and will be removed.
  • Do not request, share, store, or link to CSAM, or use Pollzy to facilitate CSAE in any form.
  • Do not post sexual exploitation, abuse material, or non-consensual sexual content.
  • Do not post graphic violence, gore, or content encouraging self-harm.
  • Do not post scams, fraud, or deceptive content meant to exploit users.

3. No Sexual or Explicit Content

  • Do not post pornographic or sexually explicit content.
  • Do not post highly suggestive content that is inappropriate for a general audience.

4. Protect Privacy

  • Do not share personal or private information (yours or anyone else's).
  • Do not dox, expose private conversations, or post identifying data without consent.
  • Do not impersonate people, brands, or organizations.

5. Integrity and Fair Use

  • Do not use bots, fake accounts, or automation to manipulate votes, follows, or engagement.
  • Do not spam repetitive polls/comments or irrelevant promotions.
  • Keep interactions authentic and in good faith.

6. Authentic Media and Context

  • Do not post manipulated or synthetic media intended to deceive others.
  • If media is edited for humor or style, it must not be misleading in harmful ways.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Only post content you own or have permission to use.
  • Do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other rights.

8. Reporting and Enforcement

  • Use in-app reporting for polls, comments, and users that may violate these guidelines.
  • Reports related to CSAE/CSAM are prioritized for urgent review and safety action.
  • Our moderation team reviews reports and may take action, including content removal or reduced visibility, feature restrictions, temporary or permanent account suspension, or no action if no violation is found.
  • Repeated or severe violations receive stronger enforcement.
  • If we become aware of apparent CSAM or CSAE activity, we may take appropriate action consistent with applicable law, including preserving information and making reports to relevant authorities or authorized organizations.

9. Age Requirement

Pollzy is for users 16 years and older.

Accounts found to be under this minimum age may be removed.

10. Child Safety Compliance and Contact

  • Pollzy complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations, including laws related to child sexual abuse material and child exploitation reporting.
  • Pollzy maintains standards and processes to prevent, detect, remove, and address CSAE and CSAM on our platform.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services immediately.

11. Updates

These guidelines may change as Pollzy evolves. Material updates will be reflected in the latest published version.
