Terms and Conditions
These terms explain the rules for using Pollzy, your responsibilities on the platform, and how we operate the service.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the Pollzy mobile application (the "Application") operated by Social Spaces LLC ("Pollzy", "we", "us", "our").
By downloading, installing, creating an account, or using Pollzy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create or use a Pollzy account. By using Pollzy, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
2. Account Responsibilities
- Provide accurate account information.
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- Be responsible for activity under your account.
- Notify us promptly at hello@pollzy.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in abuse, fraud, or policy violations.
3. License and Intellectual Property
Pollzy grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application for personal, non-commercial use.
All rights, title, and interest in the Application, brand, software, and related intellectual property remain with Social Spaces LLC and its licensors.
- You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Application.
- You may not circumvent security or access controls.
- You may not use Pollzy branding in a misleading or unauthorized way.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you post, including polls, images, comments, and profile content.
You grant Pollzy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify for formatting, display, distribute, and otherwise use your content as needed to operate, improve, and promote the service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload.
5. Acceptable Use
- You must not post unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringing content.
- You must not harass, impersonate, threaten, or exploit others.
- You must not attempt unauthorized access, scraping, automation abuse, or disruption of the service.
- You must not manipulate votes, engagement, or reporting systems.
Use of Pollzy is also subject to our Community Guidelines.
6. Moderation and Enforcement
Pollzy may investigate reports and take action including warning, content removal, visibility reduction, temporary restrictions, account suspension, or account termination.
Moderation decisions are made in good faith to protect user safety and platform integrity.
7. Reports and Safety
Users can report polls, comments, and users. Report metadata, reporter details, and related content may be retained for moderation, safety, and audit purposes.
Submitting knowingly false, abusive, or spam reports may result in enforcement action.
8. Third-Party Services
Pollzy relies on third-party services, including Google Play Services, Firebase, Expo, and Google AdMob.
Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Pollzy is not responsible for third-party service outages or policy changes.
9. Ads and Potential Paid Features
Pollzy is currently ad-supported.
If paid features are introduced, additional purchase terms, including billing, renewal, and refund rules, will be disclosed in-app and/or in store terms at that time.
10. Privacy
Your use of Pollzy is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
11. Termination
You may stop using Pollzy at any time and may delete your account in-app.
We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations of these Terms, Community Guidelines, legal requirements, or security risks.
Sections that by nature should survive termination, including licenses, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute terms, will survive.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Social Spaces LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of Pollzy.
Our aggregate liability for claims relating to Pollzy will not exceed the greater of (a) USD $100 or (b) the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Social Spaces LLC from claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your misuse of Pollzy, or your violation of these Terms.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Social Spaces LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
You and Pollzy agree to resolve disputes in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory law requires a different forum.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Pollzy after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
